CAVE SAINT BRICE

As early as 1934, in Saint-Yzans-de-Médoc, during an economic recession, many winegrowers were betting on the future. They pooled their resources and invested in a production facility that was efficient for the time.

Since then, generations of winegrowers have succeeded one another, enabling the Saint-Brice winery to evolve, remaining true to tradition, constantly striving to improve the quality of its AOC wines.
Today, the winery represents 40 winegrowers for 110 hectares of vines with a range of eight products, confirming the desire, with an average of 14 hectares per wine, to produce wines that perfectly represent their terroirs.

CAVE LA PAROISSE

Under the Ancien Régime, when villages were not yet communes, a group of hamlets whose inhabitants attended the same church on Sundays was called a “Parish.” When it came to wine, it was commonly referred to as “the parishes along the river” or “the parishes behind those along the river.”

The Saint-Seurin de Cadourne Cooperative, founded in 1935, is a team of 26 winegrowers working their vines in the same commune with passion, respecting tradition, in partnership with the winery staff who lovingly vinify and age a wine that meets a single goal: quality. It produces an average of 3,000 hectoliters per year. Its vineyards border the great Saint-Estèphe appellation to the south and spread out to the east over the gravelly hillsides overlooking the great river, the Gironde.

VIGNERONS ASSOCIES

The history of the Grand Listrac winery began in 1935 in Listrac-Médoc, a small winegrowing village located on the edge of the Landes forest, thanks to the boldness and discernment of some twenty winegrowers who had already understood that unity is strength.

From the mid-1940s, the Grand Listrac winery took off. Its partnership, from 1948 until the early 1990s, with the Compagnie des Wagons-Lits, would definitively establish the winery among French and international audiences.

In February 2017, the Vignerons Associés Grand Listrac and the Viticulteurs du Fort-Médoc joined forces to form the Vignerons Associés de Moulis, Listrac et Cussac-Fort-Médoc.

The name chosen by all the winegrowers, “Vignerons Associés de Moulis, Listrac et Cussac-Fort-Médoc”, symbolizes the mosaic of terroirs that make up their entire vineyard. This union is the keystone of a shared desire to pool the assets and know-how of our 43 winegrowers.

With nearly 164 hectares of vines, spread between the Listrac-Médoc, Moulis en Médoc and Haut-Médoc appellations, the Vignerons Associés can secure their future and continue to offer their customers wines produced with passion and at the best quality-price ratio.
