La Rose Pourpre was created in 2009 out of a desire to offer some top-of-the-range, innovative, and atypical Pauillac wine. This confidential cuv\u00e9e, produced only in great vintage years, is the joint result of the work of 3 of our cooperative winegrowers. It is a blend of grapes from 2 parcels of old vines where Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc are predominant.<\/p>\n
The plots planted to Cabernet-Franc, Petit-Verdot, and Cabernet-Sauvignon, are located on the edge of the Estuary and on the Artigues plateau, which puts them amid some of the most illustrious Ch\u00e2teaux.<\/p>\n
